Now if only we could get Trump to do the same damn thing.
Now if only we could get Trump to do the same damn thing.
And a lot of this comes from not fucking voting. I seriously wonder how things would be if voting was mandatory and everyone was given appropriate time off to do it.

I read it and was like “140 isn’t too bad”. Then I noticed it said per day, wtf?!
Because of course it has…
Offer: high speed rail to connect the north and reduce people’s transit time
Best we can do: price hikes and fewer seats
I mean he had to pay for the repairs somehow /s
I made the joke that we’ll have SystemD/Linux replacing GNU/Linux and the number of “well asckuallys…” that popped up was simultaneously humorous and saddening.
Maximum Landing Weight and Maximum Takeoff Weight. Because of the stress put on the airframe when landing you don’t want a heavy plane. It’s easier to control when taking off because it’s smoother. So having the same weight on landing means the airframe will need to be beefed up, or you fly with less overall since more goes to the plane.
Posted this in another chat…
I’ve always been curious how electric planes will address MLW as they scale up. Even if you get similar energy densities and can cover MTOW, you generally count on reducing weight as you use up fuel and are lighter when you land. But with a battery your weight is going to be roughly the same. Will that mean you have to take into account the increased weight and will have less room for cargo/passengers?
That looks like Myne reading it which makes it even funnier.

Best we can do is: do it or you lose your job.

Finally! The return of MvC2. I bought MvC3 when it came out and I was so disappointed. Not because of the smaller roster but because they reduced pretty much every player to the exact same move set. So it didn’t matter who you chose, it was always the same.
Yup. They’ve already anchored it. They could drop if $1K and people would think it’s a steal but it’s still wildly absurd.
I always tell people to look at the average salary and home price for a year and calculate how many hours it’d take to buy a home. Then do the same for now and from the 70s, think it was almost a 5.5x increase. Inflation is fine when it’s across the board, but because salaries aren’t keeping up it’s creating bigger and bigger gaps.
Doesn’t technically the bank own it until you pay off your mortgage? I’d be curious how many have the titles to their house.
Another thing to your point is most clients now support blocking communities or entire instances, so by doing this you’re leaving the power and the choice to the users to block as they want at a client level.
