Are they the same thing? Have the same privileges ? Is there any difference at all ? Or are they both on the same level and use those names interchangeably?

A server admin has full access to the machine running the actual lemmy server. Basically the one that can do updates to the site. They have full terminal access to the server.

A site admin on lemmy is an admin on the instance itself, giving full control over the website, but not updates of any kind. They can ban, approve users, change the sidebar, and remove communities.

It could. People can work on the same server. It just needs good communication. Also if one sleep another could pick up the slack.
