What are some eggregious practices of theirs? I took a look online and some stuff that maybe hardcore gamers are bothered by but as a filthy casual, well, they’ve given me so mamy free games that I’ve enjoyed over the years, I actually make an effort to support them…
Epics digital storefront isn’t the greatest: most of the time, it’s pretty slow and lacks many features compared to steam.
I always suggest using the heroic launcher for epic, Prime, and gog.com. works very well for these stores.
But I agree, got so many free games, plenty of good high-end games that I can install, add it to steam as a non-steam game, and then launch it from there with all benefits steam brings.
Yeah. Free is free. I won’t buy anything on their platform though. Only thing I ever bought through epic was satisfactory. I bought it again on steam because I prefer steam, and the game is well worth it.
Do yourself a favour and just pay the $4 for this game on another platform. Saving $4 isnt worth supporting epic.

CEO is a prick and he/they are very anti Linux so I’ll never support them.
