A few months ago a pair of JWs were making the rounds of where I live. I talked with them, and they gave me a mobile number. I texted it, and was left on read.

A few weeks ago a Mormon approached me. We talked for a bit and they asked if they could have my number. I gave them my number. Still haven’t heard back.

I’m too powerful.

Ha, I knew this reference was coming before I even saw your comment. Guess it’s time to rewatch Black Books yet again. It somehow never gets old.

Was that a double joke when he said his favorite story was about Jesus going to dinner with the tax collector? I thought Judas was a tax collector, or did I remember wrong.

Oh no, you’re being escalated. My partner spoke with Jehovah Witnesses and they come monthly to the door. I’m sure there were discussions about tactics involved.

They actually don’t know where I live. I was driving when I saw them. I stopped to talk to them.

You must have shocked them because it seems like very few of them even get past the door phase

You can guarantee that when it’s the Scientologist’s turn, they’ll be calling you several times a week.
