If fascism does play out, and eventually “they come for me” because I am among one of the most hated minorities in the world (atheist). I will be armed. My only goal will be to take out at least one of the cops before they inevitably kill me. I’m not dying in some el Salvador or Rwandan torture prison. I only hope I’m prepared and have the courage to pull the trigger if the time comes.
Tell that to 3rd world prison they’ve decided to rendition undesirables to. How long before they start collecting “the homegrowns” and start cross referencing their little “autism database” they’re building? We can all see where this is going. This is my home, I don’t want my friends and family disappeared before they finally get to me.
Peaceful protest against law enforcement snatching people in the street without any form of justification and sending them to death camp abroad does not work much either.
The point of being armed is that you increase the cost of fascist goons carrying out the street level orders of the fascist leader. Do you love freedom enough?
Murdering people is not the answer.
