The idea is that Piefed instances would implement welcome onboarding messages via a specific plugin made that would direct new users to here.
Since this is PieFed, I guess it could use some posts’ flair like help has. Definitely “Solved” one but then there could be a few categories for marking what one has problem with, named from newcomers’ perspective
- app - phone clients
- page - webUI
- posts - cross-posting, federation
- etc

Not sure if my question will be seen by anyone since this “weekly thread” is three weeks old, but I don’t see anywhere else to ask, so: Why does it seem making a post anywhere on Piefed, even right here in this community, requires a link/url?
I could understand if it was just in communities for posting about news, but not here. Can someone explain?The default post type appears to be “link”, but you can change it to “discussion”.
