    The BBC reported an advert to Instagram showing a very young girl in tears, with wording indicating that she had been sexually assaulted. But 24 hours later, Instagram replied saying it hadn’t removed the advert because “our review team found that the advertiser’s ad does not go against our community standards”.

    This is par for the course for Meta. Years and years ago, there was a Reddit sub (ironic, considering the platform’s pro-paedo stance now) about reporting CSAM. I was linked to a Facebook page where a much older man was sitting with a girl at a table, she looked about 9-10, and it was not a good situation. Even as a guest I was able to see the image and report it. They asked for an email address. I used a burner. They replied within 24 hours, stating that the ad did not go against their community standards. This was before the Trump involvement with tech, so that wasn’t the reason.

    Funny they mention Telegram though. I started using Telegram maybe a decade ago, and I mainly use it to chat with my wife. I am aware it has channels, but I’ve never seen any of any value. You can look for local channels, and I don’t know how that works, but it’s all dog shit. I’ve certainly never seen porn channels on Telegram. I wouldn’t know where to look, and it’s not really something I’d want to seek out. I browse /all on Lemmy, and when I’m of a mind to, I do look at the fedinsfw stuff, but I have it blurred out by default. (Show, but blur.) Sometimes I click. Most of the time I just keep scrolling. I’m over twice most these women’s ages anyway. One claiming to be 48 has been posting lately. That’s a little older than me, but I love a 70s or 80s gal. I’m not attracted to young gals.
