when will they realize it can all end as soon as they leave ukraine? that’s all it takes, just go home and the splosions stop, the country can rebuild itself, and the babushkas can get their fucking eyeliner delivered from wildberries. just go home.

well, defenestrate putin, but everything else pretty much falls into place after that.

While in an ideological sense terrorism is an act of evil partially differentiable from “normal war”, viewed strictly through an abstracted lens in terms of military tactics it is clear that terrorism is also a form of guerilla/asymmetric warfare that warps spectacle into fear and attempts to create power from a weak position.

It is NOT a tactic undertaken by a military that is curb stomping another military’s air defenses, ground forces and logistics, there is no need to exploit the leverage of terror when you have the ability to directly dismantle an enemy military’s war machine while taking and holding territory.

Terrorism is what desperate people with no moral red line resort to when they are unable to materially fight a fullscale war against a perceived enemy, which is why russia leans on terrorism as a tactic.

This is traditional war on Ukraine’s part and this accusation is just projection.

As an american, I also don’t feel bad for American civs as well. I get it, it sounds harsh, but unless you’re ACTIVELY resisting or trying to foment change then I really have no sympathy for you.

ALL tax paying civilians of a country are complicit in its actions and or atrocities as long as they don’t speak out or act to prevent them.
