Israel has essentially endorsed a framework of a proposed Gaza cease-fire and hostage release deal, and it is now up to Hamas to agree to it, a senior U.S. administration official said Saturday.
As the article says, they’ve agreed to the framework. Next they need Hamas agreement, then they need to work on detail. It’s a positive step, not negative.

No…. It’s a qualified statement. “Basically” is leaking an awful lot of water instead of carrying it.
And “agreeing to a framework” is very different to actually agreeing to an actual ceasefire.
The “official” is using an awful lot of words to say not-much.
Its a step in a process.
“It’s a step in the process!”
So is measuring the flour. Doesn’t mean we have cake- or will have cake.
Might have muffins instead.
Any process can fail.
And it’s been failing since October because Biden is a zionist and thinks Isreal can do no wrong
Ah no. There have been two negotiated ceasefire in exchange for hostages
By the Biden administration or in spite of them?
That’s funny.
No.
A US official said they “have more or less accepted” it…
I literally just quoted that part.
Do you not understand how that’s different than what you’re claiming?
It’s not different, it’s the way it works. Isreal signed off on the framework.
No,
It’s very clear…
Yes, it’s clear. I wonder what you think that means.
Hold on, I just basically wrote you a check for 10 million dollars, go buy your dream home and tell the bank you’re good.
The US State department has worked with both parties on successful ceasefire. I don’t see how this is different.
