Disappointed to not see Tesla on the list. Target the oligarchs behind this.

I want to apologize to you guys. I’m sorry you’re forced to suffer for my country’s stupidity voting in this dipshit. You don’t deserve this.

I do love that your government is clapping back against the bully, because only terrible things follow when you appease fascists.

But it’s regular Canadians getting squeezed in the middle as a consequence. For both our sakes I hope this ends soon

I feel the same way. On the one hand, there’s nobody else I’d rather have slap sense into us than one of our closest allies. But average Canadians don’t deserve to be wrapped up in our godawful drama. Here’s hoping they can hit us hard enough to get back on the right track sooner rather than later.

      Video game consoles

Seems like this is limited to arcade machines and playing cards.

      • Other games, operated by coins, banknotes, bank cards, tokens or by other means of payment, other than automatic bowling alley equipment

      • Playing cards

every store I’ve been in puts them next to milk, followed by yogourt and cheese and above huge letters only say dairy, so maybe people assume based on that? Still odd to me that anyone would try to blanket term it with dairy

I always forget those are actually separate. I was taught in school that eggs were dairy and have never broken that stupid memory :/

      tacking on: https://european-alternatives.eu/

These are all digital services. Europe has strong data protection and privacy regulation. The US tech billionaires throwing in their lot with the Trump administration gives them plenty of leverage if push comes to shove.

Debating heading out to stock up on deodorant and other storable goods. Not that I want to buy American right now, just that historically domestic alternatives simply raise prices to match the tarrif product prices in an effort to profit take.

    Tariff Item No. 1205.10.00

Rape from the US is now being taxed. I guess I’ll just stick with Canadian rape, keep it local.

One of the worse named plants of all time, thanks Latin.

And that’s why we renamed it “Canada oil” aka Canola

Well, part of the reason. “Canola” is really only the edible variant, which is now a bit more than fifty years old. Older cultivars contained large amounts of erucic acid, which apparently is neither tasty nor very good for you.

I don’t know whether anyone still grows the non-canola rapeseed cultivars as a cash crop.

        spoiler

I thought this was about Loblaws “raping” their consumer’s wallets rather than getting it “raped” by Amazon or something.
