Grimes, whose legal name is Claire Boucher, filed a petition to establish a parental relationship in San Francisco Superior Court on Friday.

In North America, the only laws I know of are the character restrictions on the input field for the birth certificate.

It’s to stop crackheads from naming their children names that will be detrimental to them throughout their life. Like naming them shitbag or sandals. No one would call their kids names like this you say? There’s a reason they had to invent this law SMH

Well, there’s not, because the law literally doesn’t exist (in the United States anyway).

And that’s a pretty stupid fucking reason.

This is a great example of the price of freedom. Poor shitbags has to live a shitty life just because a deranged parent felt like being edgy and pushing the free speech laws to their limits.

          No, it’s a joke.

In an outdoor on-the-spot interview someone asked him how XAEwhatever was (saying it how Musk pronounced it in an interview) and Musk was confused for a few seconds like “huh… what…?.. OH YOU MEAN MY KID HAHA! Yeah he’s fine.”

So he was just trolling and getting his kicks while everyone took him serious.

Drawing attention to people’s appearances distracts from things that are truly worth criticizing, like shitty decision making. Also, it doesn’t actually make them look bad. It makes you look bad.

The door, meagerly, opened and he saw within the apartment a fragmented and misaligned shrinking figure, a girl who cringed and slunk away and yet held onto the door, as if for physical support. Fear made her seem ill; it distorted her body lines, made her appear as if someone had broken her and then, with malice patched her together badly.

Elon made it clear that he did not want to talk about Nevada’s death. I didn’t understand this, just as he didn’t understand why I grieved openly, which he regarded as “emotionally manipulative.”

She wrote this in 2010, when he was still at the peak of his popularity and made his cameo in Iron Man, and this article did little to his public image.

Turns out he was just really good at taking credit for other people’s work and the mask finally started slipping.

Musk and Grimes first had a son together, named X Æ A-12, and then a daughter born via surrogate in 2021 named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. They refer to them as “X” and “Y.”

At this point I’m convinced there should be a test you take before the court allows you to procreate. Now hear me out, cause I know how it sounds. But maybe it can be a very simple test, with just one question: “do you plan to put more thought into naming your children than a junior dev does into naming their variables?”

Yes it could just be the perception. In American films and TV everyone seems to have a lawyer, there’s the whole “lawyer up” reddit meme and I’ve been given so much advice on reddit about things I should/shouldn’t do to avoid getting sued (like sweeping the pavement outside my house! This seems to come up so often). The only time I know of people using solicitors here regularly are to buy houses and to finalise divorce.

What you read on reddit and watch on tv/movies isn’t at all how reality actually is here lol. You do legal stuff when you have to, it’s expensive and a hassle, and it’s still best to settle things outside of court. Reddit says a lot of dumb things, the lawyer up thing is a meme since a redditor should really not be giving legal advice. That’s like when you discuss mental issues, people say to go to a therapist, it’s not any country specific. If anything, it’s the EU who has a lot more regulation, which means more courts involved.
